Online learning is the newest initiative in the Learning Services department. This initiative was launched because of the great distances teachers must travel to attend face-to-face training and because teachers' time is limited.

We have a commitment to quality professional development and that commitment applies to our online courses, as well. To the greatest extent possible, the courses...

• are designed around a variety of media (video, audio, interactive flash),
• they always include discussions with other students and/or an online facilitator, and
• they are open and available 24/7 (no specific scheduled window).
