Grants - Teaching American History

T.H.E. P.A.S.T. - American History (Teaching History Educators to Provide Achievement for Students by Teaching)

This federal grant initiative is a three-year collaborative project among Centennial Board of Cooperative Educational Services (CBOCES), East Central Board of Cooperative Educational Services (ECBOCES), the National Council for History Education (NCHE) and Colorado Institute for Historical Study (CIHS). The purpose of the grant is to enhance the American history knowledge of K-12 American history educators through the use of primary sources. Through the grant, K-12 teachers in participating districts have access to quality professional development over a three year period.
