Serving Morgan County School Districts: RE-3, RE-2J, RE-11J, RE-20J & RE-50J.

What is SWAP? The School to Work Alliance Program, in collaboration with the Centennial BOCES school districts, and the Colorado division of Vocational Rehabilitation, is a program designed to assist young adults (ages 16-25) with mild to moderate disabilities, engage in a successful career path to employment.

 SWAP Mission: To assist young adults with the transition into the work place by providing career track employment opportunities.

  • Enhance the employability of young adults with disabilities.
  •  Involve community businesses in partnerships with schools.
  •  Involve young adults in their communities in a meaningful way.

The SWAP staff will: Assist young adults, ages 16-25, who want to work, have mild to moderate barriers to employment, and are having difficulty finding and keeping a job.

  • Work to place young adults in jobs related to their area of interest.
  • Teach young adults basic employment skills.
  • Offer job coaching as needed.
  • Support employer during the initial job placement and a one-year follow up period.
