Centennial BOCES - Media Services

The Centennial BOCES Media Department serves 8 districts and 25 schools. This department furnishes teachers, counselors and administrators with support materials to aid in the instruction of students of all developmental levels. The media department consists of over 2000 videos, books, tests and other materials available to be checked out on a limited time basis. Materials include videos and films for all ages and learning abilities; training videos for teachers and administrators; critter crates; demonstration materials on the human body; information on drugs, smoking, alcohol and other subjects; books; manuals; equipment and test kits. The media department is also the contact for the High Plains Regional Library program. Through this system, films and books are borrowed from universities, college libraries, the bookmobile and public libraries throughout the area. The media department also distributes the Centennial BOCES Communicator, a newsletter that is distributed to over 300 individuals and institutions in the Northern Colorado area.
