Learning Services - Admin LeadershipHOW CAN CBOCES HELP ADMINISTRATORS WITH NCLB? SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT? STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT? Administrative Induction Program - Meet the Colorado requirement for administrative certification-each administrator must complete an induction program within the first three years of becoming an administrator. CBOCES offers this service to any member district.
- Receive coaching from a mentor assigned to each new administrator to help coach the new candidate through the rigors of the administrative role.
- Attend monthly training sessions on topics designed to help guide administrators through the many job responsibilities and the needs identified by the Standards survey.
Walk Through Observations - Learn Teachscape's reserch-based brief 5-step classroom observation structure that focuses on determining the curriculum objective being taught, student engagement, and effective teaching practices.
- Learn to analyze classroom situations for follow-up purposes.
- Learn how to use reflective questions in follow-up conversations.
- Practice using the model on school site.
- Utilize data collection processes to determine curricular and/or instructional needs.
School Improvement Process Training and Coaching - Learn methods of analyzing the data to determine the building's strengths and areas for growth.

Research-Based Instructional Strategies - Examine research on the leading and proven instructional strategies that can significantly impact student achievement.
