After identification in a specific academic or talent aptitude area (or more than one area), a school will individually determine what programming they are able to offer their students. This will vary from school to school within Centennial BOCES as it is dependent on the resources available. Individual student programming selections are driven by student data.  It can include, but is not limited to, acceleration, cluster grouping within class, enrichment programs, and/or extracurricular activities.

Centennial BOCES recognizes that programming for affective or social-emotional needs is crucial to the well-being of gifted students. Programming and instruction for gifted students falls within the Colorado Multi-Tiered Model of Instruction and Intervention with services at the universal, targeted or intensive levels based on student needs.

Please check with your individual district to understand what opportunities and programming options they have available for gifted and talented students.
